Convection cooling power supply passed medical and ITE application certification

With a rated output of 350W, the CUS350M series AC/DC power supplies are medically and ITE certified to comply with IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60950-1 regulatory standards. They do not require forced air for cooling, which makes them suitable for use in audible noises that cannot be tolerated, including hospitals, dentistry, radio and professional audio equipment, says TDK-LAMBDA. The power supply can operate from 85 to 264V AC input, and is available with a nominal output of 12, 18, 24 or 48V. With an efficiency of up to 94%, the article meets the ErP command with an average efficiency score greater than 87% and less than 0.5 W standby power consumption. Less internal waste heat allows the product to be operated at full power at ambient temperatures of -20 to + 40 ° C and up to + 70 ° C derating. The compact unit measures 190 high x 87 x 40 mm for 1U rack mounting. The preferred/suffix f model has a 5V 0.5A standby output, auxiliary 12V 0.3A output, remote sensing, remote on/off and isolated DC good signal. The input and output are isolated to 4,000V AC (2 x MOPPs), and the 2,000V AC is output from the input to the ground (1 x MOPP) and 1,500 V AC (1 x MOPP) from the output to the ground. Safety certification includes IEC / EN 60601-1, ANSI / AAMI ES 60601-1 and IEC / EN / US 60950-1 CE marked low voltage and RoHS2 directives. The unit also complies with EN 55011-B, EN 55022-B and FCC Class B conducted interference (Class A radiation) and complies with the IEC 61000-4 immunity standard. Controlled Diode Array with ESD, EFT and Lightning Protection

Protek's devices introduce an ultra-low capacitance steering diode array that provides circuit protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transient (EFT) and secondary lightning strikes, including USB interfaces and notebooks. The new DSL70 component is also suitable for other high speed signal interface applications. They include video interfaces, mobile devices, microprocessor buses, POEs and more. The DSL 70 is capable of protecting a pair of lines or steering two single lines via a transient voltage to a power line or ground. Its ultra-low capacitance (typically 3pF) maintains high-speed data lines for signal integrity. This is a serious transient damage that simultaneously protects the integrated circuit (IC). The extremely low leakage current is what makes the DSL70 suitable for battery-powered devices and PoE applications. The DSL70 also has a continuous power consumption of 225mW. The device complies with several IEC standards. They include: 61000-4-2 (ESD): air - 15 kV, contact - 8kV; 61000-4-4 (EFT): 40A - 5 / 50ns; and 61000-4-5 (surge): 30A, 8/20 microseconds - 2 levels (line GND) and 3 levels (line-line). The device is also compliant with RoHS and REACH standards. Protek's device "DSL70 is packaged in a small-mode JEDEC SOT-143. This is a fast transient time event such as ESD that reduces the internal lead inductance and low overshoot voltage. The weight of this component is approximately nine months. Other key mechanical properties include lead-free pure tin plating (annealing) and solder reflow temperature (pure tin-tin, 100) 260 to 270 degrees C. Working and storage temperatures are -55 to 150 degrees C. It also has UL 94V-0 Flammability rating. Protek's equipment "DSL70 is now mass-produced on a large scale. Pricing amounts vary, and the size of the disc starts at either 3000 or 10,000. This is the EIA standard 481 per 8mm belt and reel.
